James scores 41 again as Cavs beat Bucks (AP)

LeBron James matched a season high with 41 points, finally putting Milwaukee away with a steal and soaring dunk in the final minutes, and Mo Williams scored 16 against his former team as the Cleveland Cavaliers won their fifth straight, 99-93 over the Bucks on Tuesday night. James scored 12 in the fourth quarter and didn’t come out in the second half while playing a season-best 43 minutes.

Nuggets improve to 3-0 with Billups (AP)

Carmelo Anthony scored 18 of his 25 points in the second half, Chauncey Billups added a key three-point play late, and the Denver Nuggets held off the Charlotte Bobcats 88-80 on Tuesday night to stay unbeaten with Billups in the lineup. It was Billups’ second trip to Charlotte in just over a week. He had a much more pleasant day this time around.

Bowen misses first start in 550 games (AP)

Bruce Bowen didn’t start Tuesday night in San Antonio’s game against the New York Knicks. It was the first time in 550 games that he played for the Spurs in which he was on the active roster and didn’t start. Bowen checked into the game with 2:22 left in the first quarter. He was replaced in the starting lineup at small forward by Ime Udoka.
